About The Internship The Weinstein Company Publicity Department is currently hiring interns for Fall 2009. Candidates should be extremely detail-oriented, capable of multi-tasking and dedicated to gaining experience in the industry. They should demonstrate a strong interest in the fields of both Film and Public Relations, and be able to commit to at least two full days a week. Generally, interns work 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Some special events on nights and/or weekends may also be requested but are optional. General intern responsibilities include:  Researching and compiling a daily report of “press breaks” which includes all media coverage of TWC and TWC films  Assisting the Publicity department in general public relations duties including the occasional implementation of film premieres, press junkets and press screenings  Updating and maintaining high profile contact lists for press and celebrity events  Administrative office duties such as messenger-ing packages, answering phones  Special projects on a case by case basis
